Meet Valerie Clark

Valerie Clark is a retired educator who will listen to you and serve as your conservative voice in the Georgia House of Representatives. She was a teacher in Gwinnett County and then principal for Duluth Middle School, Shiloh Middle School, and Central Gwinnett High School. In her thirty-eight years in the field she was principal of a National School of Excellence and a State of Georgia School of Excellence. As a recipient of a Danforth Scholarship, she was an attendee of the Harvard Principals’ Institute. Valerie received the President’s Awards from Phi Delta Kappa and the Georgia Middle School Association for service. She was awarded a PTA Lifetime Membership and was chosen as a Georgia PTA Principal of the Year. Valerie is a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a M.Ed. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. She is married to Dr. Bob Clark, retired school administrator and former City Councilman for Lawrenceville, and has two children, Pearson and Barrett Clark, who are both students at the University of Georgia.
